Add to the list of inexplicable e-reader feature omissions (along with annotations, e.g., long available with Kindle clients): when you turn your iPad (as, e.g., everyone who has the Apple iPad case routinely does, to use it as a stand), the Google eBooks client doesn’t adjust; ditto on Android devices, at least on my Samsung Fascinate phone.
